The pen on a string

The site sign-in book, and its pen on a string, went missing. Print a QSME poster for the gate: people scan it, sign in on their phone, and the register prints on your letterhead.

What this shows in QSME

Each QSME project has a sign-in poster for the gate. People scan it with their phone, enter their name, who they are with and their PPE, and sign in for the day. The office sees who is on site and the register prints on your own letterhead.

Transcript

Missing: one site pen. Last seen Tuesday. Reward, one sausage roll.

Which matters, because someone wants to know who was on site Thursday. And the book says... Dee.

QSME has its own instructions. Print it, laminate it, cable-tie it to the fence.

Walk on, scan the poster with your phone. Name, who you're with, tick what you're wearing, sign in for today. Signed in. On the record.

Next morning, it remembers you. Still no pen.

Back at the desk, Dee's got a surname now. You can see who's still due. And the register prints on your own letterhead.

One poster on the gate. Sign up at qsme.co.nz. Pen's still missing, mind.

Dramatised: names, jobs and businesses are fictional, and on-screen data is illustrative.
